Cooking Suggestions

Steak with a thickness above 1½ inches are better finished in the oven.

On stove-top:

1) Let the steak rest 30 mins at room temperature before cooking

2) Season with olive oil, kosher salt and black pepper on all sides

3) At high heat in your cast iron, sear your steak 4 to 5 mins until deep brown on one side

4) Turn it on the other side for 2-3 minutes.

5) With a Meat Thermometer, check the internal temperature for the desired doneness:
- Rare: 120°F - 125°F
- Medium-Rare: 125°F - 130°F
- Medium: 135°F - 140°F
- Medium - Well: 145°F - 150°F

6) Cover with an aluminum foil and let rest for 10 minutes before serving
